Dr. Anthony Johnson earned his Ph.D. (2016) in Modern European History (Russian Specialization) from Georgia State University. Dr. Johnson is a Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke where he teaches 19th and 20th Century European History, Imperial Russia, Soviet Russia, Modern Middle East, Modern World. Dr. Johnson's research focuses on Siberian Regionalism in the Social and Political Life of the Russian Empire.
