Dr. Gary Anderson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where he also serves as the MPA Program Director. He teaches core MPA courses in leadership, administration and organizational behavior, as well as electives such as community organization and development, conflict analysis and resolution and program evaluation.
Dr. Anderson’s research interests include community development, citizen participation and public-sector management, particularly focusing on the relationships between city-county administrators and elected officials.
