Dr. Pack-Smith is a Mezzo Soprano, voice teacher and musical director with credits from Los Angeles Opera to off-Broadway. She has directed productions like Romance, Romance and Kinky Boots and performed nationally in Gilbert and Sullivan tours and Do! Jump! at the Geffen.

Her research on contralto voice identity and Rossini has been published in Opera Journal. She holds degrees from Pepperdine, UC Irvine and University of Arizona. She teaches voice, musical theatre and acting.

Dr. Pack-Smith has received the PVCC "Arty" award for excellence in fine arts faculty multiple times and an MONCA award for the Los Angeles region.
