Virginia Garnett

Virginia (Ginny) Garnett earned her doctorate in English from the University of Delaware in 2014. Her research interests include American authorship, oratory and the relationship between platform entertainment and the literary marketplace at the turn of the twentieth century. Since joining the faculty at UNCP in 2015, she has taught Composition, American Literature and World Literature. When she is not working, Dr. Garnett enjoys hiking, baking, gardening and chasing after her endlessly energetic toddler and Weimaraner.
