Immunizations

North Carolina law requires individuals attending a college or university, whether public, private or religious, to receive certain immunizations. The registrar of the college or university is responsible for assuring the required immunizations have been received by all new (undergraduate and graduate) students enrolling in college at any time during the year.

Nutrition

The food that you eat directly affects how you feel, your energy level and how well you concentrate. Good nutrition can provide the building blocks for a successful college career in addition to lowering the risk for diseases such as diabetes, cancer and heart disease.

Self-Care

Self-care is the intentional actions of an individual to improve their overall health and well-being. Self-care can target your emotional, social, physical, spiritual, intellectual or occupational health.

Sexual Health

Sexual Health

Sexual Health is very important for college students. There many things to consider like birth control, preventing STI’s and getting yourself tested for STI’s. As a college student, you may not be ready to have a child and you do not want to get a sexually transmitted infection. So have a plan as to how you want to approach your sexual health.
