Ring in the Season with UNCP’s 17th Annual Holiday Extravaganza!

UNC Pembroke Music is kicking off the season in spectacular style with the 17th Annual Holiday Extravaganza, Thursday, December 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the Givens Performing Arts Center.
The pre-show, featuring UNCP’s steel drum band performing on the GPAC patio, begins at 7 p.m.
This beloved campus tradition brings together UNCP’s premier music ensembles for an unforgettable evening of festive favorites — all in support of music student scholarships.
From soaring choral harmonies to big band swing, steel drum rhythms, and lush orchestral sounds, the stage will be full, and the energy will be high. Featured performers include:
- Pembroke Singers, directed by Dr. Jaeyoon Kim
- University Chorale, directed by Dr. Jose Rivera
- UNCP Trumpet Ensemble, directed by Dr. Tim Altman
- UNCP Jazz Combo & Jazz Ensemble, directed by Dr. Aaron Vandermeer
- UNCP Percussion Ensemble (don’t miss the steel drums pre-show) directed by Dr. Joseph Van Hassel
